Who we are:
The Society of Homeopaths is the largest organisation registering homeopaths in the UK. Established in 1978, the Society's aim is high quality homeopathic health care for all. Currently we have 1400 registered members across the UK, easily recognisable by the letters RSHom.
What we stand for
Professional Standards Authority accredited register
The Society of Homeopaths’ voluntary register is accredited by a scheme set up by the Department of Health and administered by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA), an independent body, accountable to Parliament.
Practitioners on The Society of Homeopaths’ voluntary register are able to display the Accredited Voluntary Register quality mark, to show that they belong to a register that meets the PSA’s robust standards.
What this means
Accreditation means that The Society of Homeopaths’ voluntary register meets the highest standards in governance, standard setting, education and training, management, complaints and information.
This accreditation offers you enhanced protection, as you now have the option of seeking homeopathic treatment from a practitioner on a register that has been vetted and approved by an independent body, accountable to the UK parliament.
